Manga Figure Study
This took a while, but I proceeded to draw five panels in which Kazuma from Noragami was included in. This is good anatomy and facial practice. I tried to do well, and I realize that they are not 100% perfect, but when I finish, I get to see the overall drawing and discover the flaws in which I had missed before. On each drawing, I took progression photos during five (or less) multiple stages until the piece was finished.

When I begin a drawing, I usually start out by sketching the dent on the face where one of the eyes rest, then curve around the head from there.
As I went, I tried to get the proportions correct. On this certain section, I had trouble getting the ear to look right.
Although clothes typically look pretty hard to draw (with the wrinkles and all), I enjoy drawing Kazuma's suit.
While drawing his hair, I realized that I had more trouble than expected with getting it to bounce off the right height from his head.
Out of the whole drawing, I feel like the position of the glasses was the hardest part to duplicate. I had to redo it multiple times and it still didn't turn out exactly perfect, but the end result was fine.
When I finally got the sketch done, I felt like it was looking better now that I had the face completed.
Usually when outlining (these were done in pencil), it's actually not as hard as it looks. Since I've been working on this drawing for a while now, I knew were everything had to be and where it needed to be fixed.
Although some things are not perfect on the drawing even after finishing, I was pretty happy with the end result.
