CorelDraw 8

Lesson #18

Printing

Although I already knew the basics, I learned how to print in Lesson #18. I drew a cartoon boy in CorelDRAW 8 and then printed it twice to give out to a few people, while printing out another copy as I fixed minor mistakes. Even though I printed in black and white, you could also print in color while using CMYK (which I've talked about in lessons prior).

Lesson #19

World Wide Web

With CorelDRAW, you could use any image that you've created using the program on a website --much like I've been doing on this whole project! If you really wanted to, you could even use CorelDRAW to design a homepage. This is what Lesson #19 teaches us. You could save any image as a png, jpeg, gif, and more!

Technically, this was the last lesson to CorelDRAW. What I'll be learning next in the book are PHOTO-PAINT Basics. As you could see to the left, this last lesson also wanted to teach you how to make a homepage for a website, which I decided to practice although I already made one for this website. Off of CorelDRAW, you could even attach links to shapes and buttons (which is what the red cross hatching indicates on the "Page 1" button). I enjoyed these 19 lessons and hope to come back to them again soon.

Project #5-G

On this page, I worked on printing and exporting/importing images as different files.
