CorelDraw 8

Lesson #7

Mixing up fILLS

In this project, I learned how to mess around with color fills. This lesson took longer to complete because I had a good time exploring everything that the gradient tool could do (The tool that causes one color to fade into another), and at the end, I created a television with the colors and patterns available.

Lesson #8

Draw and Edit Freehand Curves

This lesson was similar to lesson #6 because you get to work with lines again. Except this time, you work with arranging each individual node (increments of the line) to change the shape and thickness of the line itself. I also worked with closing lines and tweaking with the font a bit more. This is why the hand holding the "HOMEWORK" paper looks a bit wonky.

Lesson #9

Bezier Curves

I arranged text in this lesson --learning how to space them out, how to move each letter individually, and how all of this could be done with the help of Bezier Curves. These are lines that curve in a motion that sort of flows. Using the Alt key on the keyboard lets you rearrange the line from moving nodes rather than having to select the whole thing.

Project #5-c

On this page,  I worked with mixing fills and drawing with curves.
